Reflecting on 2025: Volunteering with Saving tiny Hearts
As we kick off 2026, I find myself looking back on some of the most meaningful moments of the past year. One that stands out is our annual tradition of volunteering our photography services for the incredible Saving tiny Hearts event on November 1st, 2025.
A Cause That Continues to Inspire Us
Saving tiny Hearts is an organization dedicated to funding research and supporting families affected by congenital heart defects. Each year, their event gathers families, advocates, and medical professionals—all united to bring hope and resources to children facing these challenges.
Our Role Behind the Lens
For us at IDTPhoto, giving back through our craft is one of the most rewarding parts of our work. Volunteering at the Saving tiny Hearts event allows us to capture stories of resilience, joy, and community. Jane, as always, brought her handmade props and a warm touch to every session, making each family feel celebrated and seen.
Why We Give Back
2025 reminded us how important it is to use our skills for good. Photographing this event wasn’t just about taking pictures—it was about creating lasting memories for families and helping shine a spotlight on an organization that’s making a real difference.
Looking Ahead
We’re grateful for the opportunity to support Saving tiny Hearts and look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come. If you’d like to learn more or get involved, please visit savingtinyhearts.org.
Thank you to everyone who made this event possible, and to the families who trusted us to tell their stories.
With gratitude,
David & Jane Mercer
